TECH NOTE TN-200: H-CAD Home Care Activity Desk

Applications in: Neurological Rehabilitation (including Tremor), Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy

The H-CAD system allows the execution of a configurable set of exercises at home. The rehabilitation treatment designed specifically for each patient' need can be updated directly from the hospital environment.A link through internet allows therapists and doctors to have an in-dept insight in the recovery of the patient since a recording of each exercise section is storead and trasmitted to the hospital. The physical configuration of the portable unit can be adapted to patients' needs and patients' posture. Modularity has been from the beginning an important feature to be considered of the high variability of user requirements. The patient can also contact the hospital at any time by activating the video conference mode.
