Information on the processing of personal data

Signo Motus srl, in the person of its legal representative, protects the confidentiality of personal data and guarantees them the necessary protection from any event that could put them at risk of violation.
Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code) modified by Legislative Decree 101/2018, this page describes the methods of processing the personal data of users who access the use of the AgeWell app.
The information does not concern the processing of personal data carried out by other sites, pages or online services accessible by the User via links.

Categories of data subject to processing

Browsing data

The IT systems and software procedures used to operate the AgeWell app acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow Users to be identified.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the terminals used by users who use the AgeWell app, the addresses in URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the IT environment of the user.
Such data, necessary for the use of services related to the AgeWell app, are also processed for the purpose of:

  • obtain statistical information on the use of the services;
  • check the correct functioning of the services offered.

Data communicated by the user or acquired

Personal data voluntarily provided by the user may be processed when they interact with the features of the AgeWell app or ask to use the services offered by the AgeWell app. The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of data involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender's contact data, necessary to respond, as well as all personal data included in the communications. By interfacing with Google's API, data relating to the user's height and weight, physical activity performed (steps) and distance travelled, are also acquired and stored. Your use of the AgeWell app and the transfer of information received from the Google APIs to any other app will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including limited use requirements. The personal data of the interested party are processed in compliance with current legislation and, in any case, with due confidentiality.

Purpose of processing – Legal basis – Conservation

The personal data provided by users who forward requests or intend to use services or products offered through the AgeWell app are used for the sole purpose of responding to requests or carrying out the service or provision requested and are communicated to third parties only in the case in which this is necessary for this purpose. The legal basis of these treatments is the need to respond to the requests of the interested parties or carry out activities foreseen by the agreements defined with the interested parties.
With the express consent of the user, the data may be used for commercial communication activities relating to offers of additional products or services from the owner. The legal basis of this processing is the consent freely expressed by the interested party.

Treatment methods

The processing of the user's personal data is based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of the privacy and rights of the interested party. The processing is carried out through automated tools (e.g. using electronic procedures and media) for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected and, in any case, in compliance with the relevant regulatory provisions in force. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
The persons authorized to process, who are adequately trained, belong to the company functional areas that need to process the data as part of their duties for the purposes indicated in this information.

The personal data collected will not be disclosed and may be communicated not only to subjects who have the right and interest in accessing your personal data by law or secondary and/or community regulations, but also to internal staff of the Data Controller, as well as to companies, associations or professional firms that provide services and activities on behalf of the Data Controller as Data Controllers for the fulfillment of legal obligations, as well as for any organizational and administrative requirement necessary to provide the requested services.

Rights of the interested party and methods of exercising rights

n your capacity as interested party and in relation to the processing described in this Information, you can exercise the rights referred to in articles 7, 15 to 21 and 77 of the GDPR (right of access, rectification, cancellation, limitation of processing, right at the data portability, right of opposition, revocation, complaint). In particular, if the processing of personal data is based on specific consent, the interested party has the right to revoke such consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the revocation itself. The interested party may exercise their rights at any time by sending the Data Controller a certified email or a registered letter with return receipt. to the addresses indicated above in point 1.
